How does HexaBee work?

Merchants add a HexaBee pay link to the invoices they already send and BCC a copy of each invoice to their HexaBee address. Their customer opens the link and pays through a hosted checkout — no app, extension or account required. If the link carries no invoice details, the customer enters the email address the invoice was sent to, confirms a one-time code, and picks the invoice from their list.

Is data stored?

Invoices a merchant BCCs to HexaBee are stored in that merchant's ledger (invoice number, amount, payer email) so they can be matched to payments and reminded. Card details and bank credentials are never seen or stored by HexaBee.

Payments?

In the UK payments are processed by Stripe — cards, Apple Pay / Google Pay, Pay by Bank and other Stripe-supported methods. In Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Poland bank payments are initiated by Montonio, a payment institution licensed by the Bank of Lithuania, straight from the payer's bank to the merchant's account.
